Configure your browser to accept cookies

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file containing data, in particular a unique identifier, and transmitted by a website server to your browser and stored on your computer's hard drive .
Each website can store its own cookie via your browser if it allows to do so. For security reasons, your browser only authorises access to your hard drive to the website that issued the cookie and no other website.
How to configure your browser to accept cookies?
Follow the instructions below according to your browser and operating system:
- Internet Explorer 6.x for Windows:
1- open the drop-down menu "Tools" of Internet Explorer
2- select "Internet Options"
3- select the "Privacy" tab
4- click "Advanced"
5- check the "Override automatic cookie handling" box
6- check the "Accept" boxes under First-party Cookies and Third-party Cookies headers
7- lastly check the "Always allow session cookies" box
- Internet Explorer 5.x for Windows:
1- open the drop-down menu "Tools" of Internet Explorer
2- select "Internet Options"
3- select the "Security" tab
4- click "Custom Level"
5- Under Cookies headers, ensure that both Enable boxes are checked
6- then click "Apply" to confirm changes
- Internet Explorer 4.x for Windows:
1- select "Internet Options" in the View menu
2- click the "Advanced" tab
3- Go to the "Security" section then under "Cookies" header
4- select either "Always accept cookies" or "Prompt before accepting cookies" option
- Internet Explorer 3.x for Windows:
1- select "Options" in the "View" menu
2- click the "Advanced" tab
3- uncheck the "Warn before accepting cookies" option
- Internet Explorer 3.x / 4.x for Macintosh:
1- select "Preferences" in the "Edit" menu
2- select "Cookies" under the "Receiving Files" heading (on the left).
3- select one of the following three options from the drop-down list opposite "Receiving cookies":
# "Never ask"
# "Ask for each site"
# "Ask for each cookie"
- Internet Netscape 6.x for Windows:
1- open the "Edit" menu of your browser
2- select "Preferences" in the drop-down menu
3- in the "Preferences" window:
# click "Privacy & Security" then "Cookies"
# check both or either "Accept all cookies" and/or "Warn me before storing a cookie" boxes
# Click "Ok"
- Internet Netscape 4.x for Windows:
1- select "Preferences" in the "Edit" menu
2- select the "Advanced" category on the left and ensure that the "Accept all cookies" box is checked
3- You can also select the "Warn before accepting cookies" option
- Internet Netscape 3.x for Windows:
1- select "Network Preferences" in the "Options" menu
2- then click the "Protocols" tab
3- uncheck the "Show an alert before accepting a cookie" option
